“We make ‘em get up and dance” is the motto of the five-piece band, Life at the Top.  Their musical influences range from the legendary Albert Collins to contemporary blues artists such as Debbie Davies and Tommy Castro, as well as Jimi Hendrix and the Allman Brothers.  The band includes Karen Wilkins on vocals and keyboard, Guitar Slim on guitar and vocals, Dudley Dean on guitar and vocals, Dan McPherson on bass and vocals, and Ralph Liddle on drums.

Life at the Top has performed at the San Luis Obispo Farmers Market, Bonnema Brewery, California Midstate Fair, SLO Brew, the Morro Bay Harbor Festival, Martin Weyrick Winery, and the Morro Bay Brewing Company, as well as tons of private functions.
