The Mission San Antonio is located in a part of Fort Hunter-Liggett, on land that was deeded to the Church by William Randolph Hurst when he owned the area.

It is the only mission that still privides the feeling of isolation. One of the Brothers responded when I commented on the quiet, "Yes, you han hear the silence."
